Poppy fields and corn are a typical West Country scene. Gorgeous hand painted poppies, daisies and cornflowers and even a cheeky mouse in the corn! This leaded panel is hand painted with traditional glass paints and fired in the kiln to make it permanent. A very rich and striking little piece, it is edged with lead and can be displayed on a window ledge or hung in a window. Size: 240mm x 190mm.

I had already done one workshop with Kate and enjoyed it so much that I wanted to try something a little more ambitious. On a blustery day we were in our own little bubble in Kate's cosy workshop. We were able to work at our own pace with Kate's expert tuition and advice on hand at every step of the process. We all came away with a piece of stained glass that we were proud to show to friends and family and to treasure in our homes. Kate's lovely home baking kept up our energy levels for the day and her friendly dogs kept us entertained. This session would make a lovely gift for family and friends or to treat yourself - which is what I did!

Kate allows participants of the class to create their own designs, choose glass from a wide range of colours, textures and finishes, and then create a stain glass piece from beginning to end, without rushing through any of the processes. Kate is very informative, patient and kind; I am lactose free and gluten free and she catered snacks to my requirements. I loved the course so much I've purchased another one! If you want to have a go I highly recommend her classes, suitable all experience levels, and lots of fun.
