Kate is a qualified and experienced tutor and runs a variety of stained glass workshops throughout the year at her studio in North Petherton, Somerset.

Kate offers workshops in leaded stained glass, copper foiling and glass painting. All equipment and materials are provided as well as all safety equipment. Refreshments are provided throughout the day. All you need to bring is a packed lunch. She also now runs weekly classes for those who want to work on a personal project at their own pace.

Classes in the studio are small with a maximum of 4 participants, ensuring personal attention from Kate at all times. External classes are run with a maximum of 10 participants.

*Please Note: Working with stained glass and lead can be physical and messy. A certain amount of strength and flexibility is required in the hands and wrist. Working with lead is not advised whilst pregnant. Please contact Kate if you are unsure whether or not it is suitable for you.

Stained Glass Workshop

On this one day workshop, Students will learn the basics of making a stained glass leaded panel in the traditional way. This is ideal for beginners and those with a little experience.

NEW project led weekly classes, 5 week blocks

Suitable for those with some glass cutting experience who wish to work on their own project at their own pace under the expert guidance of Kate in her studio in Somerset. Available in 5 weekly blocks.

Garden spectrum stick.

On this one day workshop, students will make a leaded stained glass spectrum stick hanging for the house or garden. This is ideal for beginners and those with a little experience.

Glass Painting Workshop

On this one day workshop, Students will learn the traditional methods of glass painting. This is ideal for beginners and those with a little experience.

COPPER FOILING WORKSHOPS

On this one day workshop, students will learn the art of copper foiling glass to make individual light catchers. This is ideal for beginners and those with a little experience.
